• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Wee Joe Allen

Well nobody plays forever and he’s been a fine servant to the Swans and of course Wales . He will be missed but onwards and upwards. Maybe another holder from the continent ??

Those dreaming of an Allen/Franco/O'Brien midfield might be disappointed.

Announcement coming today - the Welsh Pirlo is hanging up his boots.
Sad times, but I’ll never forget that goal at Ninian he scored absolutely mental to be there and now see him hang his boots up, I’m guessing he will be part of Sheehans coaching set up.

Was one of my favourite trips to that ground on that day. It was also the last time I’ve gone on a bubble, as the penalty they got awarded at the end pissed me off so much.

They had two fans right in the corner next to us and we drove them potty, so much so that they didn’t return to their seats for the second half.

The two roidheads 😂👍

Mad to think there was only a curtain separating the home and away fans, brilliant day.

My daughter and son were at that game.
Both brought up on the NB.
Now take my granddaughter to the morfa occasionally.
Getting older, prettier and losing the marbles.
Me not the grandbaby 🤣

Love how the Vermin coined the ref (Dean? ).
Our physios glued him back together and the w⚓️ gave them the softest penalty.
