What fantastic by-election results, and a lot of evidence of tactical voting being deployed, just what will be needed going forward to defeat both the Tories and Britain's arcane voting system.

Congratulations to all the voters in both constituencies who decided enough is enough. Not that the Criminal will resign on the back of this caning, we all know he is a man with absolutely no shame and no honour, but the results bring the day of his demise much closer.

The rats are starting to jump ship then. Big blow for Johnson that.

I'd like Bojo to lumber catastrophically into the next GE. Him going before then could give the Tories a massive boost.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey.

Dowden? This is how that went.

“Listen, Oliver. You quit on the back of those elections to take a bit of the heat off me and I’ll have you in one of the cabinet top jobs by the end of the year”.

Lord Dowden of F**k Up.

Nailed on.

Has there been a comment from our illustrious leader?

It seems to me that a lot of tory's did not bother to vote. They will be back though for the GE and that is where the big problem lies.

Aye that’s the Tory line being used to justify the results last night. You’re very like the tories in that way.

It is pretty obvious, this has always been their tactic. Remember the Brecon by election? Libs got in and got murdered in the GE due to torys not voting. Like a lot of labour voters they won't go and hold their noses.

Boris desperately needs to engineer a 'dead cat' moment to distract the populace.
If I was Her Marge, I'd be avoiding any meetings with him for the next few weeks. He'll be trying to trip her up at the top of the stairs, or slipping a little something into her cup of tea......

You must be devastated the northern Independence Party only got 84 votes.

Just you wait until everyone votes in the next general election. They're going to walk it...
