You know your time is up when normally loyal arsel*ckers like Herefordshire South MP Jesse Norman turn against you.
The best result for Labour, though not for the country, would be a narrow victory for Bozo, and him limping on as leader of the Nasty Party which is destroying itself from within.
Just ordered my popcorn, I'm loving this.

Can’t help but think they’ve got the timing wrong. Should’ve waited until after the tories lose the two by elections later this month.

Better maybe that he survives with a significant vote against and then they get totally wiped out in the byelections. He can then be totally humilificated every week until he steps down, or if not, his stupid self serving nonsense "policies" will not get any traction.

He will hang on as long as he can , penny mordaunt looks the best option if your a Tory imo

The best result for Labour & LDs is a win for Johnson but a significant number of votes against (100 or more) then a complete crash at the by-elections. That would drag on the discontent and conflict. He would be a lame duck then.

I've seen the briefing note the Tory party has circulated amongst it's parliamentary members giving reasons why MPs should vote to retain Johnson.

IMO it is of no value whatsoever to champion the PMs successes with Brexit, the COVID vaccination programme and this governments stance on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Those things are what I EXPECT my government to do.

The members need to think carefully today. Johnson is a dead man walking. History shows votes of confidence do politicians no good. If he survives this Johnson will be battered in the next election.

MPs have the opportunity to vote out this clown who thinks it's fine to lie to the House and the public, and fine for his father to swan off to Greece during lockdown to make his holiday home COVID safe while the rest of us did what we were told.

He surrounded himself with a cabinet who were going to kowtow to him, rather than doing what was right and appoint the best people for the roles. Who can forget the absolute imbecile Gavin Williamson, Nadine "amoeba brain" Dorries and the utterly wicked and despicable Priti Patel.

The MPs need to do the right thing and get rid of Johnson NOW and if they are worried about their jobs, at least they have a couple of years with a new leader to build trust again.

Nadine "amoeba brain" Dorries

Thanks for that Lego, made me chuckle

No way! If he survives this vote then he has a year of protection against further such votes. The UK cannot afford another twelve months such shambolic and frankly embarrassing leadership.

It was a very good letter from Jesse Norman.

Was there a time limit by when the 54 letters had to be submitted to Graham Brady?

On the news this morning Graham Brady said that he had letters from mp's that were postdated to be valid after the jubilee celebrations but he didn't say how many

No. Can happen any time.

Yeah I think he survives this vote by a gnats cock.

Which isn't bad in the long run imo.
