I hope he shows what he’s made of and gets up to speed by the end of the season just so we can see the type of thing he can offer us next season.
I am super cynical. Never have taken training videos evidence of what will happen on match day. I understand its what gets players chosen and what is involved. Didn't Bale, have a poor mindset to training and turned up on match day. While Ronald does it different. Not sure why I have gone off subject a bit. But you get my point.

Bit like Franco. He took his time to get used to the physical side of the championship. Walta will need to as well. Same applies to Yalcouye. We are starting to see this now. Allen and Briton both prime examples of how height can be used in the right way. Maybe they have had an influence on Yalcouye and Franco? As coaching staff.I think training in a relaxed environment can potentially show a players ceiling, translating that to on the pitch on a game day with all the pressures that come with it is the part where the manager needs his man management skills and tactical clarity.
I think Matos will get the best out of someone like Walta who seems really technical from the clips I’ve seen in his time in Sweden.
Don't forget Leon and Manuel BensonMessi 5ft 7in.
Maradona 5ft 5in
Pele 5ft 8in
Best 5ft 9in
Many of the all time greats were very short.
Adapting which makes sense.![]()

Sounds like he will get an opportunity either against Leicester or Southampton
Added to that how far he travelled and the two full games he played in 72 hoursAdapting which makes sense.
You can't really judge a young player coming from abroad for a few months.
Huge step.
Spot on.Added to that how far he travelled and the two full games he played in 72 hours
A bit late to the party Smurph!Matos clears up what's going on with Walta. Just a matter of time for him getting up to speed and settling in to his new surroundings.

Story of my lifeA bit late to the party Smurph!
Good to hear he’s not out of favour. My lad has been following his international appearances and is adamant he should be playing. He’s probably got a point. You don’t get up to speed with the Championship without playing in the Championship. Maybe he’s not as good at pointing and being stuck in no man’s land as Cullen though. Feck knows.Matos clears up what's going on with Walta. Just a matter of time for him getting up to speed and settling in to his new surroundings.
