• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

And this is why he’s playing for us in the championship rather than the premier league.

If he had consistency and incredible end product then he wouldn’t be with us.

I for one like Ronald, always puts a shift in and has pace to scare the opposition.
He frustrates me with his end product sometimes. It is hard not to like a player who starts on the right wing and somehow bombs it back to cover left back when Tymon has found himself stranded.

This usually happens from a corner, Ronald is one of the people designated to stay back because of his pace and defensive qualities compared to his lack of aerial threat in a crowded penalty area

Inoussa wants to play for Häcken again until he officially becomes a Swansea player on the 1st july.

Inoussa today "BK Häcken is a club where I really enjoy myself and my main focus now is to come back and contribute in the matches I have left in yellow and black. I dream of a cup title! Then I am of course looking forward to the next step in my career, which has been possible thanks to my time in BK Häcken"

5 Year Deal. Left Winger. Something tells me that Eom is being moved more into LB role maybe? Either way we must feel like this is a top signing to spend as much as we have and on 5 year deal. Personally cannot remember last player we did that with. Isn't Franco on 4 year?

Eom to left back, no way! We need to be moving away from square pegs in round holes. If we are signing players who are an upgrade on the current, then we need to be attempting to move them on.

OK so I meant more attacking centre like number 10. Yes OB has been moving to left a bit. I was more talking about number 10 role. 👍👍👍

Eom will play as a 10. I see no reason to move him on. Unless there's a move in the pipeline already, which wouldn't be a surprise. He has Premier League quality for sure, which won't have gone unnoticed. There will be clubs thinking of coming in for him now rather than wait for the fee to rise, which it will.

Franco was a 3+1 year deal as was Eom

When you say LB, do you mean left back or Lewis O’Brien?

Eom has almost as much value commercially as he does on the pitch.

South Koreans love their sporting heroes and idols, if a player makes it big then he can be worth a huge amount in terms of merchandise and other revenue. The advantage for us is that Eom's upturn of form has only been for the last 13 games or so (which coincides with Williams getting the boot), other clubs may well wait to see if its just a purple patch.

Proof in pudding..spot on.

Sorry Lewis. I can see the confusion 😂😂
Right’o 😂 Now that we’ve cleared that one up, it seems we’re gearing up a half decent midfield for next season. Eom has a degree of versatility, but ten is where he should play IMO. However it looks like he will have competition for the position, and that’s not a bad thing.
