Duff is saying the right things and his track record is impressive. All that will count for nothing though, if the money men don't back him. I accept that Piroe is likely to leave, but it will be a huge black mark if any other of our top players moves on without a big fight by the club, and another black mark if the club doesn't acquire good quality left and right fullbacks/wingbacks and maybe another decent keeper.
We might need another striker too if Piroe leaves. Whittaker can go for my money, I don't think he's got it at championship level.
