Reasonably priced of course.

My red wine recommendation for today if McGuigan Black Label Shiraz, £5.99 in Home Bargains..very nice fruity flavour.🍷🍷🍷

Calvet Prestige Bordeaux. £6.50 in Tesco down from £8.50.

I’ve been drinking it at £8.50 so to get it a few quid cheaper is a bonus.

I prefer the black label with no wine variety, it just says red wine. Not sure if offer is still on but I think it was 2 for £10 in Morrisons. Going off this I reckon you'd also like Barefoot Malbec and Apothic red wine. Found some Apothic in the garage the other week and I liked drinking it cold.

Also nice but not currently on offer (in Tesco) is Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec; an incredibly smooth red and a steal when it’s on offer. Has been as low as £6 so have your eyes on this one. £9 a bottle otherwise.

Asda doing multi buy at the mo. Dark Horse Cab Sav and WB Yellow Label Cab Sav, 2 for £12.

WB Yellow Label is a solid bet at 2 for £12.

Got given a bottle of Port today, never tasted it before.

What do you mix it with, and is it a nice drink?

Very nice with a tot of brandy.

I also put a splash of it in the turkey gravy for Christmas Day.

Couple of glasses of port with some cheese at the end of a good swill. Banging. Fucking awful hangovers though. Kills me it does.

Try the co-op you'll be surprised. They do a Shiraz from Australia called " The Black Shiraz" about £8 but can be on offer.
Plus their own label Chianti is a steal at £6

Don’t mix it with anything. The only thing you have to decide is whether to drink it in 100ml or 150ml lots.

What port is it as a matter of interest?
