Just watching Emma Raducanu in the second round and I reckon these ladies are mostly shite. Seems to be a competition based on who can be slightly less shite than the other. Not worth the same money as the lads. Should have to play best of five sets imo.

Other than Swiatek the women's game is all over the place at the moment. Anyone in the top 50 can beat anyone else... Kontaveit is world number 2 and she's barely been past the second round of a slam/masters.

Just wanted to be slightly more ‘correct’ than say they aren’t even worth three fifths of what the men get paid. You are right though. This is making my eyes bleed. The pundits keep talking rubbish as well.

That's a good thing, makes it more interesting , when Graf , Navratilova and the Williams sister were dominating it at their time it was boring as hell

That's just your opinion , she is a teenager , she hasn't come anywhere near the level she showed at the us open where she went for the lines and made most shots winners , if she can get back to that level and there is no reason why she can't she will have every chance of winning more majors

and others mate, after she loses her ranking points from the US open she'll be back in challengers, cos she's hardly won a game since then and her ranking will plummet.

People love to say stuff like this because they know making a slam QF is not easy and they have a good chance of being correct. If they turn out to be wrong, what's the chances of someone remembering they said it in the first place?

Even if she doesn't ever do a lot in the rest of her career, she's won a Grand Slam, an achievement that her detractors can only dream of. It's the same kind of people who said Murray would never win a slam, then he'd never win a second slam, etc...
