• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No Lucy Owen and some scam victim who bought or sought the services of magic beans /solar panels/ rogue builder/counterfeit UGG boots/ million pound gas bill/car without a steering wheel for me tonight then!
Thanks Wimbledon!!!!!

Murray will have shaken off some rust there.

Off to the Rovers Duckworth!!!!!

What a good mother he has. Always there like Mrs.Mainwaring at Aberavon

I think Murray would make a good coach or sports scientist/psychologist after he retires from playing.

X-ray at 10.40pm now 🙈
A weekly dose of misfortune and hapless consumer behaviour will have to be put on hold until next week.

Isner next. May not even make round three.

- especially if Isner's history of final sets is considered. 54 Aces today - that's over 2 sets

Murray's been playing well on the grass and got to the final in Stuttgart, but his next opponents are probably Isner, Sinner and Alcaraz, he'll do really well to get through those three. Norrie's actually got a great chance of reaching a semi now that Hurkacz is out, nobody else really stands out in his section.

Be a shame for him to go out to Isner, who he's beaten every time they've played. Isner has only ever taken 1 set off Murray!

In his prime, Isner was an ideal opponent for Murray as he is brilliant at returning serve and that's pretty much all Isner has in his locker. Given Murray's creaking body, Isner probably will never have a better chance to beat him.

He'll do well to escape Alcaraz
