Bernard Donahue’s diaries of the Harold Wilson premiership. I find the detail of what went on in no 10 fascinating.

It’s a bite sized 6 month job though, so interspersed with Stephen Fry’s trilogy on Greek Myths and Troy and David Mitchell’s surprisingly excellent sprint through the history of kings and queens from pre-Canute to Lizzie Tudor.

I also have the latest Scott Turow cued up. I loved Presumed Innocent in the 80s and he’s done a reprise ‘Presumed Guilty’ with an old age Rusty Sabich. Now I’m reminded I might kick that off tonight after watching Pompey, who are downing Ipswich despite being a far less skilled team. Heart has gone a long way so far, but I can’t see it ending 2-0.

Leicester supporters must be really crapping themselves now.

They play Pompey on Saturday. Lose that, they’re pretty much gone.

That’s worth a book. Champs to Chumps.
