That comment about contacting his agent sums it up for me. If I were one of the owners I’d not be impressed. As a supporter I’m even less so.

Any approach would have to go through the club, not his agent…

I think it was just a clumsy response, although he could have easily just said he’s not interested in talking about other clubs and rumours and just shut it down, rather than rambling about his agent.

Historically yes they are, but currently I’m not too sure. The pressure will be greater there on him to succeed I’m sure. A few defeats on the spin, they’ll be calling for his head. With our fans it’s just apathy at the final whistle of defeat, then we move on.
