Looks like FIFA and UEFA agreed between them to rescind Neco Williams' red card without having to officially admit the referee and VAR cocked it up:

One in the eye for those who thought the red card was the correct decision. If it had been, UEFA and FIFA would have made sure he couldn't play today.

Although in the catalogue of referee howlers, it doesn't compare to sending off a player for simulation while he's being stretchered off for an injury suffered in the 'simulation'. Iesu Mawr.

If that starting 11 is ever the same in a competitive game then we're already f*cked.

Don't disagree about Ampadu mind, needs to go to a club and play regularly in one position at this point in his career. Would rather Ben out there than Mepham also.
