I was really shocked to learn the five officers charged are black. I'd assumed it was another white police v black dude thing.

This is another appalling incident that just adds to my desire to never visit that messed up country ever again.

What I'd like to know is what on earth was the motivation for the police officers to act as they did? I'm hearing the original reason for the stop was that Mr Nichols was speeding. Is that really the case? If so why were there 5 officers on hand to deal with a minor traffic offence? I would love to hear their reasons.
