Heard about this on the radio the other day. The council also asked general public in Scotland for names for their new gritter lorries they have just purchased. Some funny names were proposed.

Look at the map and you'll see that the gritters are all named.

Neath Port Talbot Council had a competition a couple of months ago to name their new gritters.
My suggestion was Gary, Gary Gritter.
