• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

You're right.

With that level of perspective, insight and clarity of vision they'll be promoting you to Camera 1 in no time.

We've played the top teams with top budgets and some top managers in Maresca, Farke and Mowbray and learned some proper lessons. We applied those learnings and played Hull off the park.

Looking forward to playing the other Championship teams and enjoying similarly progressive, expansive and entertaining 'Swansea Way' football.

Maresca, Farke and Mowbray!

You left a certain Russell Martin out of that list 😉

So tell us, what end of Canton you from ?

A guy who has seen his team go on a 25 game unbeaten run and sits 3rd in the league with games in hand.
One of the best up and coming managers in British football.

Clearly a top manager but I understand why some people don't want to admit/see it.
Seems the Southampton fans can't either reading thier forums is like a rerun of ours under his time here and at MKDons.....can't even win at home to Hull didn't we beat them away recently.1000004339.jpg

25 games unbeaten and then this.

Goes to show how fickle and entitled fans really are.

I think that reaction just sums how silly the human race can be.

Leicester are going back up and Leeds probably as well. Russy has to get them back up or he's failed.

Excellent thread. And deserves a new chapter after todays’s Blackburn bashing and the wondrous Wearside watershed. This feels like the real deal - The Swansea Way ++

Shows what can be achieved when we play to our players strengths, encourage our classy midfield to dominate and control, driving vertically up and expansively wide and deep - unshackled from the nonsensical self indulgent sideways-backwards-rarely forwards-ball of the past 2 terms.

To the OP : don’t let the perennial miserables dampen your realism and optimism - it’s a mindset affliction of the shouty irrational online fickle fringe. Pity.
