Anyone remember The Karrots the South Wales based band from 80’s and 90’s?
Back in 1982 before they became The Karrots three of them,Brian,Gareth and Keith wrote an album and put down some demos.
With Covid hitting us and being in lockdown last year the three of them with the use of technology on the internet (one lives in France) got together and re-recorded it and put it out as a CD under the name L’Invisible.
It is superb,I struggle to get into new music but I can highly recommend this if anyone is interested.

I remember, very popular around Swansea. When I was younger I thought they were a punk band but didn’t they used to play Thin Lizzy covers, or was that someone else?

They were never a punk band and they might have played a Thin Lizzy cover but they played everything including original stuff.
In the main they were massive Bowie fans, still are.

Pretty sure when I last saw them it was a lot of a Thin Lizzy, might be wrong though.

Yes, great crop of talented lads from different allotments. But not as Krunchy obviously. Spent many a drunken nightwatching them in Chalkys.

There’s a few Chalkys vids on their Facebook group.

Is one of them Keith Morgan. Mogs as we called him in school.

I see on facebook he calls himself something Karrot, wondered where the Karrot came from, if he's one then that explains it.

I could we’ll get misremembering the Thin Lizzy thing, I’ve seen the bass player Andy play in tons of different covers bands I think, and I’ve seen the drummer in the Pollen Count, they are superb.
