• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Do we want this to be an 8+

Surely then opens up the boards eyes that something needs to be done.
Blame the system but the way some of them are strutting around is an absolute embarrassment.
No Swans fan in their right minds wants an 8-0 defeat. A massive defeat is likely to be the catalyst for a slide down the league and to possible relegation. This performance alone should focus Levein’s mind as I’m sure Coleman has no say in recruitment at all.

Some of this is on Williams.

Silly play it out from the back tactics, a formation which simply doesn't work for us, and the odd square peg in round hole.

This first half has been one of the hardest watches for me in years and years.

I felt that 4 defensive minded midfielders and a diamond was always going to be asking for trouble as was putting Humphries out on the left when he is a centre half.

Ashby once again feels like he has absolutely no positional sense and is always so far out of position when defensive action is needed its almost a running joke now.

Three of the goals conceded came directly from self inflicted mistakes (4 if you count Wood's absurd lack of control to give away the free kick for the first goal).

Levein wouldn't give a flying fuck if we lost 18-0

We’ve got 8 defensive players* on the pitch yet look utterly clueless defensively :ROFLMAO:

Not a good start for Williams. We had a better shape under Sheehan.

(*assuming you count Joey as a DM, which he is).

Seriously though, we need to find some pride in the second half. Start as if it’s 0-0.

The players having a good game so far tonight are Cabango, Darling, Key, Tymon and Paterson.
