I think it should be cancelled.
I didn’t always think that but with the pandemic it’s time to knock it on the head.
I know you’ll get a load of nut jobs kicking off but it’s crazy to go ahead with it now.

I’m absolutely amazed that there hasn’t been some kind of agreement and ‘truce’ to push it back a few years.

I can understand some of the uproar it would cause though.

We absolutely need to extend the transition for another year or at least six months. Otherwise people are going to really suffer. Will be like war time

Given everything that’s going on, building in some breathing space may not be a bad thing, but I suspect it won’t be a popular decision.

If the stories about delays at the ports and shortages are true then I suspect we are going to get a preview of life post Brexit in the next few days. It looks like a number of European countries have closed their borders to the UK, flights are being axed, the Tunnel is being closed down as are the ferries. Truckers can’t get out, and while goods and supplies can enter the country, the truckers bringing them in may be trapped. I can’t see too many truckers wanting to enter the UK with no guarantee of getting out especially before a Christmas.

It may be purely down to the pandemic, but it could also be a flexing of the continental muscles as part of the Brexit negotiations.

Accept it was a bad idea in the first place and just decide not to go ahead with it. Simple. 🤣

Great decision to leave. Just get on and do it ffs.

Seeing and hearing people still moaning about it reminds me of Hiroo Onoda 😂

Could we apply the same logic to the trust and just disband it ?

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a joint decision to extend the transition period for six months at some point between now and 31 December.

And then come to some agreement to ban it altogether.

Already have huge problems in shortages of reagents and consumables. Most come from Germany

It was crazy to go through with it in first place.

What other country has ever voted to put sanctions on itself, limit the movement of its people and f*ck up the best trading deal it’s possible to get with it’s neighbours?

All for some mad power grab from some despot criminal clown and because he likes of dgt73 and pikeypaul don’t like foreigners and brown people.

They should hang their heads in shame.
