With the enforced changes I can Downes filling in Christie's role, with Ntcham in a deeper midfield role.

With the enforced changes I can Downes filling in Christie's role, with Ntcham in a deeper midfield role.

I find it hard to imagine Downes playing as a wingback. If anything the more likely result would be Burns moving into central defence allowing us to shift Manning into left wingback and if Smith isn't fit for Tuesday then we will likely see Lati or Joseph take on the right wingback role.

Can certainly see Burns coming in or maybe even Bennett for this one, I also wonder if he may switch to a flat back four
