The Swans have confirmed details of the ticketing arrangements for next Saturday’s play off final at Wembley where they will go head to head with Brentford for a place in the Premier League. Tickets for the game start at £22.50 and rise to as high as £65.00 for a Category 1 ticket with the bad […]

"The club has been allocated 3,951 tickets for the West End of Wembley and tickets will be sold from the North Stand round to the South Stand via a ballot system". A tad confusing, also in that there are no cat 1 tickets available in the West stand. Or am I being twp (again).

Just used ballot application, pretty straightforward again, you can make just two selections from the three ticket price options available.

Difficult to know if people will go for the £65 ticket on the basis of everyone else will go for the “cheaper” two leaving no tickets in the higher category but plenty in the lower.

Good luck everyone and now start planning how to get there.

I’m not applying.
I won’t be able to take Amy because her health won’t allow it so we’ll be watching at home together.
Good luck chums.

It's only a preference, so I would think that when they run out of your preference, if you 'win' you'd be allocated a different price (next price up or down) that is available?

First time for the Swans to be in the west end of the stadium after previously being in the “lucky” east end :(

Not sure if they can do that. if someone expresses preference for cat 2 and cat 3, they cant legally charge someone more for a cat 1 ticket if they are lucky in the ballot.

Is it effectively 3 separate ballots? if you express preference for 2 and 3 but there is only cat 1 left, what then?

The simple solution was to be able to express your preference in order for all 3 categories. Ticketmaster don't do simple.

Goons on the Hounslow forum of the opinion that our ST holders will make no atmosphere next week.
Fck I wish things were different, taking them on with 40k and rubbing it in after would have been bliss.

According to Brentford official site a further 750 tickets extra are possibly being made available.

“Discussions are currently taking place with the EFL to make approximately 750 more tickets available to the finalists. If the Clubs are able to secure these additional tickets, we will provide our fans with further information on how to apply for these tickets early this week, it is likely these tickets will go into a ballot.“

We were in the west end for the Autoglass Final win v Huddersfield and the loss to the Cobblers (admittedly in the old Wembley).

Superstitious dribble. (The west thing, not your post). We'll win because of things on the pitch not which side of the ground we watch it from.

So wearing my lucky socks on Saturday won't make a difference?
