Very poor decision if you ask me.

Stupid idea and no need for it.

Just doesn’t make sense Dar. I particularly feel for the old timers who more than likely tend to use cash over swiping a card all the time. Who makes these decisions? So fucking out of touch with the fans it’s unbelievable.

I agree pal.

Doesn't a retailer have to pay a percentage per transaction?

So it will cost the club more?

The amount of people who cant use a card in some way is miniscule.

The world moves forward and you have to go with it.

I don’t know Sir.

Fairly sure I've read before 1.5 to 2%.
Also doesn't every time you use a card increase a chance of cloning (extreme I know)

Cash can of course be stolen, and open to abuse.

Yes the world is changing but don't you have to be 18 to have a card

Some companies do let you add an under 18 to your card.

Some older people and little kids spending the £10 notes they’ve been given for their birthday on a shirt in the club shop.

But who cares about them eh?

Let these things die out on their own accord. And I say that as someone that hasn’t taken cash out for about 2 years.

Some kids have those prepaid cards that you can load with cash. But not many little ones I suspect.

A coffee/tea food shop in a local park went cashless last year. The local paper reported takings were down.

All on the phone these days

In 30 years you'll only be able to use a phone to pay and I'll moan while shaking my contactless card in fury.
