• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Swans Trust and Kieran Maguire – A look at Swansea City AFCs 2024/25 financials – and the wider world of football

Earlier this month, Swansea City released their financial accounts for the year ending June 2025.

The accounts revealed a pre-tax operating loss of approximately £21.6 million – a figure that has naturally prompted questions among supporters about the club’s financial position and wider sustainability.

To help bring clarity and independent insight, the Trust once again invited football finance expert – and friend of the Trust – Kieran Maguire to join us for a special podcast episode.

This marks the third occasion that Kieran has taken the time to review the club’s accounts with us, and we’re incredibly grateful for his continued support and generosity.

In this episode, Kieran once again shares his trademark blend of expertise and wit to unpack not just Swansea City’s financial picture, but also broader trends in football finance.

From Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) to revenue and cost trends, and even his wider thoughts on club and celebrity ownership, Kieran offers valuable context to help our members and supporters get a feel with what’s going on behind the numbers.

Whether you’re a casual fan or a financial aficionado, we hope this conversation helps explain the current position of the club and gives members and supporters a better understanding in which to engage in these important discussions.
