• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

An untried youngster on loan from a Premier League side or taking a punt on a League One/Two striker won't cut it. Our best bet is to trawl the foreign markets and try to unearth another Piroe/Bony for relative peanuts and hope for the best. (It would be a long, long shot.)

Not much discussion about Josh Thomas stepping up as a first team striker. Could he surprise us all !?

Yates and Myklo.. with the Duff appointment

Coleman - judge me by my actions 🤡

He didn’t pull up trees with Port Vale did he, but I like the look of him hard worker, be a good loan option for old Hubert up Newport.

There was plenty of games last season we could have played him especially when we was misfiring nearly all season.

This obsession with Cullen is really quite odd..

Heard from a friend who knows some of the staff and he reckons that Myko has kicked off about not being given a chance and that’s partially the reason he’s being loaned out. You have to feel for the guy as he hasn’t been given a sniff
Not sure we should feel sorry for him, when we don't know all the facts.

Maybe it's just a straight forward case of him not being good enough at this level.

Potentially that is the case. But without ever giving him a chance, we will never know.

The only thing we know for fact is he scored 1 goal in a combined 135 minutes.

From what I have heard from several people, Mykola kicks off on a reasonably frequent basis which is possibly why he hasnt been given a chance.

There's always two sides to a story (well, in the world of football rumours there are generally about seven, finding the two correct ones is a challenge)

That true.

Williams gets to look at him every day in training to make an informed decision on whether he's up to it or not.

The finger needs to be pointed at the person who signed him in the first place.

Managers getting to look at players every day in training results in Yates, Fulton etc. getting consistent minutes despite disappointing on match days week after week. Fans don't care if players are well-behaved and enthusiastic behind the scenes and on the winning side in drills, why would we when the game is what matters?

A balance would be nice sure, but thats usually a luxury for squads with depth. Loaning out players with no cover (or just youth cover) is slightly concerning. Have to hope that a deal for a striker is already in the works and it's a case of one in one out and that we aren't privy to that information right now
