I have no idea. Really doesn't fit our usual model.

He's not a terrible manager, but no championship club with even a modicum of ambition should be appointing him in 2023.

He's a pretty terrible manager though?

Seems that manager odds have been removed from the betting sites so that has me worried.

He's achieved 4 promotions, but his last one was in 2015 and he's pretty much been in the managerial wilderness for 8 years.. we're an average team and he will fit the bill as our average plodding manager perfectly

This thread is a joke, right?

Nixon saying decision has been made, Cotterill has left shrews with their owner not being able to say anything over “confidentiality” and betting odds removed.

Hopefully a big coincidence.

What decision is he referring to?

New manager

I see. Shrewsbury would surely wouldn't have sacked him or let him go if they thought there was a chance of us giving them some compo.

He didn’t say that in the press release though did he? (Shrews chairman)

Unless I’m mistaken he said he has to make a decision which benefitted the club for the future which indicates to me a financial offer. He couldn’t go into more detail due to confidentiality.

Cotterill leaving Shrewsbury has been on the cards for a while. There has been a lot of backroom reshuffling there and Cotterill hasn't been happy that he has had no input or dialogue regards the situation.
I think this is just a case of putting 2&2 together and coming up with 50.

I think the favoured guy is currently in a job.
