Quite surprised to find out today that quite a few of the people who sit around me are not renewing, we have all been together since more or less the stadium opened and two did not renew last year but now a few others are thinking of not renewing.

Is this a Covid relate issue, have they found better things to do with their Saturdays or are people fed up with the club itself?

Odd atmosphere when the match started today. Seemed like Kev etc were half asleep and so were the majority of the fans.
Hoping it was just the malaise after five games without a win and not being able to go to games.

In terms of renewals, a lot of people - admittedly wrongly - think the Americans are not investing enough or spending enough on players and that we will be lucky to stay in this division long term. The amount of times it's been said around me is crazy

Maybe people think the yanks are not investing enough or spending enough on players and we will struggle to stay in this division

I said on another thread I havent renewed yet and am having plenty of thoughts as to whether I will.

Had the same seat since the stadium opened in 05 so would be a real shift to lose the seat but I just dont attend the number of games I used to.

I suspect I will end up renewing but I have got quite into the habit of doing other things on a Saturday afternoon as well and there is always the streaming option available.

I am exactly there too. I’m sure I’d be able to get my current seat or very close for single matches and I’m getting increasingly into the habit of using the whole day bar an hour and a half’s stream for something else. Plus the £30 petrol per match. I doubt I’ll do 12 games this season. I really don’t know if I can be arsed to renew, but I probably will, in case I feel different come August. Pandemic has had a massive effect on how I feel about football.

Same here. For various reasons I’ve only been to four or five games this season. I’ll renew because I’m hoping my enthusiasm will return and I don’t want to lose my seat but if I couldn’t afford to renew I wouldn’t be too bothered.

I'm renewing. Almost apoplectic several times during lockdown so need a place to vent at the ref/lino/opposing players

Renewed already.
Spend too much time in the house already.
Even the dog is fed up of listening to me ...

Just on a side issue why have they started reading the teams out when the music plays and the players comes out it’s ridiculous and kills the atmosphere just do it at 14:50 for god sake.

Exactly the same here, have had the same seat since 2005 but have only been to a handful of home games this season and usually deicde on the day that I'd rather not bother with the 200 mile round trip and watch on a stream instead. Will probably still renew but will definitely be doing fewer games than pre-pandemic.

Oh well, I renewed. More out of habit than anything.

I’ve just renewed and also my two mates alongside me have.👍
