I’m amazed that Marcus Rashford isn’t on there, due to his political stuff this year?

Should be Hamilton but its a public vote and he is not that popular, even motor heads don't like him, as most of them are daily mail reading brexiters who would prefer him to be white

Tyson fury looks good value at 8/1

That's a very valid point to be fair - certainly more deserving than Jordan Henderson as an example (disclaimer - this is not a criticism of the excellent part that Henderson played in Liverpool's league title)

Its awarded for performance in sport, not charity work

Correct, it should be called sports performer of the year. Some past winners have as much personality as a turnip.

Can't stand horse racing, but it's clearly Hollie Doyle

Has to be Ronnie! Always ready to go the extra mile.

"Superbike fans have also vented their frustration on Twitter, expressing disbelief that his historic achievements have gone without recognition."

Those 5 people must be tweeting furiously. :D

In all seriousness, he sounds like he's great at his sport and sounds like he should be on the shortlist.
