    All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

    Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

    It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

    The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

    Thank you though for all the memories

Signing/New contract?

New contract for somebody would be my guess.

We took up the extra year options on Key and Tymon who were both due to expire in '26. Might be giving Tymon a proper extension which he'd fully deserve.

I think Fulton is the only senior player whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season....
 
Really positive news that. Going through a tough patch atm but I’d get Key signed up to a longer deal too. Allows the focus next summer to be solely on recruitment.

Ronald the only other ‘starter’ with a contact expiring before 2028?

Ronald has a contract until 2027 with an option of an extra 12 months.
 
Well deserved and demonstrates a belief in the aims of the club. Great news.

The 4-year contract we gave Vipotnik might have started to look like a bit of an albatross in the summer, now it's looking like a masterstroke. If he scores 15+ goals this season, bigger clubs will be interested, but we'll still have him under contract for 2 seasons, putting us in a stronger position.
 
Love to see the club being proactive in giving our best players new deals, well deserved, Michael Duff signing Tymon? 👏🏻

Signed when Duff was manager but he said himself that he wasn't involved in recruitment, can't be blamed for the poor ones or take credit for the successes
