Very much looking like a flash in the pan for last season? Or just suffering from a tough start?

Yer right Phil, looking a busted flush to me.

Looking at their form at the end of last season they have managed just 12 points from the last 17 played now.

Such a shame to see Brewster wasted there

That's alright, we'll take him off their hands for a discount when we switch places next season.

I'm always good with jumping on other teams misery. No issue with that

Ultimately the "gerrin to them!" style of football has a shelf life. Teams who don't adapt always suffer in the long run.

Mate of mine a blade and hes not worrying yet reckons they will come good
I think its second season syndrome though 😁

I remember our second season syndrome?

A major trophy and glorious football.

Our football lately has really brightened me up, a tonic amongst the doom and gloom that’s about.

One point from the first 7 games suggests it's going to be a difficult season for them..

The Premier league can be unforgiving.

Chelsea up next for them too.

That's a very confident view when you have taken 1 point from 7.

It suggests that your mate is targeting a couple of key games as wins - the danger with that is - as we know too well - they lose those games and all of a sudden it's a "mind the gap" position which is already turning into quite a gap before those games

They are currently 2 points from 17th, 4 points from 16th, 6 points from 15th and 9 points from 13th. Chelsea (A), West Ham (H) and West Brom (A) is their next three games. I would wager your mate is thinking 6 points where as reality could be if they lose the two away games they are in a no better position (and very possibly a worse one) come the end of November but with three less games to play.

Already at this early stage, it's looking like Burnley, Fulham and perm one from three (Sheff Utd, WBA or Brighton) for the drop.

The Burnley one has been coming for a few years. Often you can see a relegation being signposted a few years out - Sunderland, Aston Villa and even us are good examples of that. Burnley have slowly struggled a little more year on year and their drop is coming.
