This to me is going to be a really tough game, they are in TOP form playing for promotion and scattering all before them (look at wexham) if we could get a point we will have done REALLY well

Voice of doom (me) continues to say I can't see anything from this match. Southampton are unbeaten in 18 and are chasing that automatic promotion place. Usually I'm optimistic, but I'm expecting a hammering here with Downes goal and Manning assist. Sorry

He doesn't mention that we might have been conceding goals for fun but in the past three games we were also scoring them for fun and have the divisions top scorer by a clear margin.

I also like the inference that losing to...*checks notes*...the runaway champions elect and the team in 2nd place is evidence of being useless.
