• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

My hopes based on performances and timings of certain substitutions yesterday:

------------------------------------ Vigouroux -------------------------------------
Key ------------ Darling ----------------------------- Pedersen ----------- Tymon
------------------ Franco ------------------------ Grimes -------------------------
Eom -------------------------------- Cullen ------------------------------ Ronald
------------------------------------ Vipotnik ---------------------------------------

If we sort out the Providence fiasco in time then Providence behind Vipotnik instead.

If we fix our negative Nancy over 60s walking football approach then against a team who just ditched their manager I can see this being a strong result with 3-0 written all over it.

If we don't? Then I can see us creating nothing and getting sucker punched 0-1

Although Pedersen did well he wasn't actually tested defensively. His distribution was good but faced no pacy strikers last night.

We saw a big improvement in our play last season when Joe Allen was on the pitch - and Grimes was much more effective with a decent midfielder alongside him instead of Fulton. So it's really disappointing that Fulton is still starting games now. Is Franco not actually a proper CM and will be used further forward? If so then we really need to bring someone else in who can play there.

Shame we'll never get the chance to see if Fulton can be more effective without Grimes alongside him

True but the one real time Cabango was tested he was caught ball watching and we conceded a goal from it

I get the need to control the game, but can we possibly do it without us falling asleep please.?

The highlight reel on Franco, before we signed him, showcased a defensive ability but we don't appear to be using him in that capacity. No idea what his purpose is

Right now LW is shoehorning players to fit into positions that we don't currently have the coverage for in the side. Abdulai as a winger, Franco as an attacking midfielder, Fulton as a footballer, the list goes on and will until we recruit to plug those gaps

Realistically the line-up from September the 1st has to be:

Vig
Key - Darling - ANOTHER/Pedersen - Tymon
Franco - Grimes
Eom - ANOTHER - Ronald
Vipotnik

Subs: GK, Cabango, Tjoe, Naughton, Abdulai, Allen/Govea/WINGER, WINGER, Cullen, Ginnelly(?)
