The wendies think this is a nailed on win following 2 tough games in the relegation battle.

If we can match the Cardiff game intensity they will have their work cut out.

No Grimes/ Fulton Cabango/Wood pivots please and let's start sending down some of these northern sides.

This is going to be a tough game.
Wednesday will target this one and I'm always concerned after the lord mayor's show.

It's going to really show the character of the management and staff.

Also Poveda injured...if we can dominate the midfield and get Shemy and Ronald firing we can pick them off..

After what was our best performance of the season surely it has to be an unchanged side for this (with only possibly Naughton for Key depending on return from injury). If we go at them like we did Cardiff it will be a tough afternoon at the office for them.

Here on in could now go either way. Will we win another 6/7 games or after last week down tools and think they've done enough?

Fewer than 60 points now would be a bit disappointing, SW, Hudds, Miwaaa, Rotherham, QPR.

No pundits giving us a win here... all Sheff Wed home win bankers...

A win here would be a giant leap in the direction of safety. Sheff Wed are in danger of falling away at just the wrong time. I just noticed they play QPR soon as well. So many 6 pointers happening. Its certainly not dull.

Geoff Eltringham will be the man in the middle for Swansea City’s meeting with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Friday (3pm kick-off).

It will be the second time the Durham-based official has taken charge of a Swansea game this season, having last had the whistle for the 1-0 victory away at Hull City.

He handed out four yellow cards that day with Ben Cabango, Matt Grimes and Bashir Humphreys booked for the Swans.

Eltringham has been part of Select Group 2 since its inception in 2016. He has no shortage of experience, blowing the whistle on more than 400 EFL matches.

This season, he’s taken charge of 22 fixtures, mainly in the Championship, and has given out 90 yellow cards and two reds so far this term.

On Good Friday, he will be assisted by Daniel Leach and Carl Fitch-Jackson. Ross Joyce will be fourth official.

Son really wanted to go to this one but I'm working so the missus has stepped up. Lost at Middlesbrough, drew at Huddersfield, surely she's due a win.
