• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Didn't realise that Hull were in 6th place. They have looked extremely ordinary today
which makes this outing all the more optimistic - to take the game to 6th placed big spenders shows balls

edit -learning the lessons from being chucked in the deep end - and I know we've been on the grass far more than we'd normally be (training) - and it's showing so far fair play

Good lord... Wood managed to keep an offside line!
Now I have seen everything lol

Not sure why Norwich fans thought Placheca was so poor... he's looked dangerous and creative in both games for us so far. Decent signing.

He was so so in the last game and started the same in this one but has been growing into it

Plenty to like there, see what a bit of pace can add!
Started to back off them towards the end of the first half, even the chuckle brothers at the back look reasonably assured... 👍
Pace was always the key, A) because we never had anyone to pass to and B) as we posed no threat, the opposition were always happy to commit men forward and stay on the front foot.
It looks like it’s given the whole team a lift.

If they've just gone for a back 3, that should open even more space for Ronald and Pacheca out wide
