• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Plenty to like there, see what a bit of pace can add!
Started to back off them towards the end of the first half, even the chuckle brothers at the back look reasonably assured... 👍

Half time thoughts:

Cullen showing Yates how to play as a lone forward. Clinical with his one chance and has done well spreading the ball bringing others into play

Ronald again has been superb. Really looking forward to seeing him and Key together when Key returns from injury

Fulton has been better as defensive midfield giving Grimes license to roam forward with his better distribution. Still goes missing sometimes when the defenders need an out ball though

Placheta growing into the game as the half went on

Defence has been solid by recent standards

A good half.

However, this is now a situation we've been in quite a few times before when we've been ahead at 1/2 time and the opposition come flying out of the blocks for the 2nd half and it always seems to come as a complete surprise to us and we usually get completely overrun and concede within the first 5 minutes. Hopefully, LW's team talk will make us aware that THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN and to be prepared for it.

And Luke ain't no Martin 👌

Havent we mainly been thrashed by half time - under Luke - so this is uncharted waters ?

A very, very good performance so far, but a team in the play off positions must have something about them. They'll come out flying after a half time bollocking, we HAVE to be up for it. Come on guys, let's do this.

Cracking first time finish by Cullen from a zippy corner on the deck by Tymon
just seen the highlights. it's not often we do them. very nicely worked with us blocking off the markers to make the space. Good finish too. From what I saw at the back end of that half there seems to be a lot of space for us to attack. Ronald is looking even better. Not just a threat with his pace, but his overall game looks better. Been tracking back and protecting the ball, not just charging forward into dead ends. he could end up being the signing of the season for us if he carries on like this.

I'm not sure I've got the energy Pego. Can't I just sit back and crack open a beer instead? I've got a couple of San Miguels on rapid chill in the freezer 🤣

Didn't realise that Hull were in 6th place. They have looked extremely ordinary today

Apparently dirty Leeds took the lead with a blatant Bamford handball

Ramsey back from injury for the first time since September for Cardiff.
