• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I’ve seen the club post a couple of job postings looking for groundskeepers. Perhaps there have been recent departures in this area?

The gulf in class is obvious, even if we somehow pinch this because of 'master tactician' Cooper Scooper.

In all seriousness we need to get into the match and stop just kicking the ball anywhere or we will get utterly tonked. I just hope that their defence is less assured. With Jones there, that's a real hope.

Oh, and what the f**k is Smith for exactly?

I know, I've started early 🤣🤣🤣

Possibly so but people at £9 an hour are not going to get it to the state that we would expect it to be in.

And are you suggesting that because of potential departures we have nobody qualified to look after a professional football club's pitch? Seems unlikely

We should get another ball on, for us to play with

It's not even 8pm yet mun

The game has worryingly started with us on the defensive too - I know it is early days but they do look significantly more agile and athletic than us

I must say that I was quite perplexed that the postings mentioned £9 an hour or thereabouts, yet required some sort of professional certification. I would expect few to bite at that wage.

Of course I’m not suggesting that they’ve got no one to look after it, just that they may be a bit short handed. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if there have been some corner cutting to save £ lately.

The Ospreys haven’t been at the Liberty lately, have they?

At least we've got into it now, thank God. The first ten minutes was a horrorshow.

They are pressing high.. shouldn't be playing out like we are doing ! pitch also not helping
