S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Leicester 0 Swansea City 1 | 11/04/26 | The EFL Championship | The King Power Stadium

Nice one !!after those games in the Prem where Vardy and co would punish us on the break

Just an aside.
The absolute whinging and pants wetting from the usual on here at half time is the reason I don't contribute much on an away thread anymore. Big girls blouses the lot of you.
The best way to view a match thread is after the game and chuckle at those who have made minges of themselves one way or the other. It’s usually the same people and it’s very amusing.

It wasn't a classic from a footballing perspective, for all the stresses of the Boro and Sheff Utd games once we let the brakes off those games were quite enjoyable to watch and if any team was gonna win the Sheff Utd game it was us as the Blades basically sat deep to try to hold a point.

I think our biggest target for the summer will be improving our contribution from wingers, there is no denying that Ronald, Eom (his stunning assist today included), Inoussa, Nunes have all delivered far too little over the course of the season.

Some argue that Eom might be the better fit in the middle and competing with Walta as a number 10, I am sure I remember an interview with him before where he said that it was his preferred position too. Inoussa is still young, raw and adjusting to the league, Ronald is consistently inconsistent and Nunes isn't our player anyway.

Good analysis. I'm actually happy with Eom position. He has ability to cut in and shoot or pass on his right hand side. I believe he played this role at his previous club. Ronald if he is with us next season. And I get a feeling he won't be. Is an impact player to bring on later. Inoussa has shown potential and I'm looking forward to seeing him next season. But we need more quality on the wings. I think based on Walta position yesterday he will be more of a Franco role. I think more time in the cooker for Walta. Based on recent performances, we have to now have Parker as RB or as a back up.

What we need to make sure of next season is adding goals out wide and replacing Vipotnik and his output. I like that we shop abroad because it’s a wider market and you can get players for cheaper, I would never discourage that but it would be nice to see us recruit some attacking players who are ready to slot in straight away. We need more Galbraith kind of signings this summer. That doesn’t mean just buying domestic players but ones who are more up to the league physically and won’t always need that bedding in period.

Matos has said similar about players that can make an impact straight away so fingers crossed the recruitment follows that thought process.

I fancied Sorba Thomas last summer but a lot on here disagreed. Ten goals and ten assists in the Championship this season is an excellent return from him.

Always puts a shift in when he plays for Wales.

I wouldn't say no.
