• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The manager is a fraud - there is no point in pretending otherwise

Absolutely clueless, proved it at MK Dons, is no difference here

You can keep defending him all you like but the evidence over 70 games is pretty clear

We make the same mistakes, try and defend the same mistakes and keep putting in poor performances

Buck stops with the manager

How anyone can defend Martin is beyond me it really is. He's full of shit

He's on borrowed time for me and I'm one of the most placid around.

No more wins and out of the cup would be my limit

Manning might be leaving, but he showed there he is still committed to the team.

Should be gone tonight

Ask Norwich if they want him for free if not pay him up.

We were here in September though, he goes right to the edge and then pulls 2 or 3 wins out of the bag.

Nowhere near good enough.

Poor quality from the management and right the way through the squad.

Time for a massive overhaul.

Shite. But when Martin rightly goes, I’ve no confidence in the muppets that own us finding a decent manager or supporting them.

For all the talk of Martin needing to go, we need new owners most of all.

The top left of your telly just confirms what I’ve just said.

Aye, another shambolic defensive display, even without factoring in the missed penalty, you can try and pick out some crumbs of comfort to justify Martin's position, but it's 8 games without a win now, that run of form gets better managers the Russ the sack, just ask Dean Smith 👍
