Moves to Saudi Arabi's Al Hilal at 26, he obviously has very little footballing ambitions and has gone for the money of which he's no doubt got plenty anyway, seems mad to me.

First of many I feel.

How long before the Desert league is picked up by Sky?

There’s speculation Wolves could have FFP issues if they aren’t careful, so his sale will improve the cash flow. I think the transfer tells us the Saudi’s mean business, he’s probably going for a huge salary and well beyond what he could get here.

Fee is 47million according to BBC Sport

I wonder what level Neves will be playing at and whether that may affect his future appearances with Portugal. Not surprised to see Ronaldo there at his age but 26 does seem a bit young imo.

Same owners as Newcastle I think. Cheap loan back to them so they can avoid ffp issues?

Isn't there some link between the Saudi PIF and Chelsea's new owners?
Quite suspect as how many Chelsea players are suddenly offloading to the Saudi league.

Money talks, so if they want something they will get it.

They got the world cup.
They've now got control of the golf.
They get the big heavyweight boxing cards.

Don't be surprised if they end up being the 'best' league in the world in the coming years.

That'll make the Premier League big boys happy, I'm sure they'd be invited, the money would be a bigger factor than the fans, no doubt. :x

Many were saying the same about China when Oscar and some others went there for big money.

Neves is the first big player to go there who isn't at the end of their career, so we'll see how many follow.

Son Heung-min is attracting interest, but he says that money doesn't matter to him and he wants to stay in the Premier League, fair play to him.
