The Daily Record reported yesterday evening that Glasgow Rangers were set to make a third bid for Swans forward Morgan Whittaker – the first two bids having been turned down in the last week. Whittaker was the most notable absentee from yesterday’s 1-1 draw at QPR after it was stated by Swans boss...

With so much being reported in the media it's a bit strange that no other club is being mentioned as showing interest.

Think we want 3M don’t we, 2M is nothing in this market for a young player with potential I’d probably risk playing him and bump his value up further.

Mitch says we have turned it down. Need to get his head on it now because he’ll 100% be needed.

How much did we actually pay for Whittaker

Around 700/800k I think, think we paid around 900k for Joseph as well, yet they've both had very little game time here

Martin need's to give the lad 5/6 games there's nothing to lose and plenty to gain, can't see us troubling the playoff's or fighting off relegation, its obvious the yanks ain't gonna splash out, all the talk about getting stuff sorted early and not having to sell before incomings, either the yanks have been playing him [similar to Potter and Cooper] or its all smoke and mirrors.

Maybe I’m being silly but still think we have a chance of play offs with two decent incomings. Mobility up front is a must and it given up completely on Ogbene yet…

Though I think it’s clearly the owners playing games at present.

That seems obvious, they did it to Potter and then Cooper and they both left and it looks very much like they've done it again, to Martin.

Despite all the murmurings we hear about their desire to get back to the Premiership, we see little evidence of them showing any ambition to do so, so that thought is better off being treated as fecking bullshit.

I'm not a fan of Martin, but he'll have my support before the Yanks, lots have a different opinion because its seen as they are running the club well, well of course they do its in their interest to do so, if they want some return for the other 28 or whatever "investor's".

Do you think we might agree a pre contract with Ogbene, use Whittaker and see where we are in the summer with him?

Rotherham sold someone earlier for 1.5M and his deal is also up in June to Boro.

Reckon Morgan is out of contract in Summer, he's under contract till 2025, 3 million quid or fukoff

At this point I’d rather just give the lad a go, and potentially bump his value even more, I think Derby must have a decent sell on fee included for us to be asking for a fair bit of £££$$

We've brought no one in as of yet, billy big bollox has left the building, another Patterson is persona non grata, so we need bodies especially ones that have been in decent form, Morgan and Martin need to sit down and workout a way forward and get the lad back playing. And look at the situation in the summer
