• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

This will be an interesting one for a number of reasons:

1. Will we continue with this tweaked style? Without a doubt we were more impressive in attack no doubt helped by a QPR team that likely didn't expect that change in style and who had set up with four across the front to hem in our short passing from the back

2. Brum is where John Eustace ended up towards end of last season if I recall correctly. Considering that he was at one point all but confirmed as our manager I am intrigued to see how the styles match up

3. Interested to see if Benda, Paterson and Cooper keep their places. Benda and Cooper were very impressive and Paterson the opposite, places in the team should absolutely be based on form and right now Paterson and Ntcham are bang out of form, Oko-Flex looked promising and brought energy and pace... two things that Paterson very much lacks.

My first one of the season due to a new arrival early august, very inconsiderate!

Cannot wait, was expecting us to take 2000 odd but doesn't look like that will be the case, fancy us to nick this one 2-0 / 2-1

From looking at twitter chatter, may be wise for anyone going Saturday to have your wits about you. Brum fans still fuming about the racism incident from our home game last year.

Warranted to be fair as it was a bad one from a few complete w*nkers who follow us

The players should also keep their wits about them. Brum have committed 100 fouls this season, which is more than any other team. Cardiff are fourth highest with 92. No idea how many we've made.

Is there a genuine chance this could be off?

Things are looking bad in terms of the Queen and someone just text me saying there would be a period of mourning if the Queen was to pass away all across UK which would include sporting fixtures being postponed.

I remember games being cancelled when Diana died, so very possible

When are we thinking this will be rescheduled to? Not much space free, but I can see Tuesday 11th October is free, we have a game on the Saturday 8th and Saturday 15th.
