I'm going to stick my neck out and say that Piroe will, most likely, be gone within a week. I'm not one to state that sort of thing, and I daren't reveal why I believe that. It could be wrong, but I think it will happen.

Yeah that would be good news, gives us time to get a replacment in, along with a few more, while at the same time plugging some financial gaps (if we get the fee we want).

I'll put my 50p on Southampton after they sell that fella to Newcastle.

Shame he’ll be leaving for another Championship team.

Some online were saying Atalanta would come in for him once they sell their striker to Man Utd.
According to Fabrizio Romano, they're looking elsewhere.

Would be happy with anything north of 9mill, fantastic player who gave his all. Good luck to him, hope he doesn't go to another champ club though

We just need to hope we get a good amount for him. Even now I don't think he's set up for the PL; but he has shown he can fire a team in the Championship.

Everton’s striker target has gone to Atalanta so they may come back in for Piroe, if they do I wouldn’t mind us doing a deal with Tom Cannon involved done well with Preston last season on loan from them.

Nothing we didn’t know but..

Goodison Now reporting Everton are still interested in him. The 72 reporting Forest and Everton still interested.

I'm a little bit flummoxed that a premier team hasn't already snapped him up. A top scorer in the Championship is usually snapped up by a top tier team. He is young and scoring regularly and quite lethal at it.
I don't understand any poker tactics. I get what Everton did with Gylfie as they didn't want to pay £50 million and it was a case of who blinked first. This is so different with teams needing goal scorers and gentlemen (and ladies) he is one.

Premier League teams have had their fingers burned in the past by paying lots of cash for prolific Championship strikers who have failed to make the step up. It's not much of a shock to see them dragging their heels over meeting our asking price for Piroe, who can look a little lost when up top on his own, or at least has done so under Martin.

As prolific as he has been for us (albeit not managing to match McBurnie's single season total in either year) for me he's always been more influential, more able to get involved in games as a #10. If we'd stuck with him there perhaps we'd now be fielding the kind of offers that we're hoping for.

State why you believe it.
