Peter's Hollow Pies

Just gonna bung a Tesco bought Chicken Peter's pie in the oven for my old Dad when I noticed just how hollow it is....not only have they massively increased in price in the last 18 months it looks like the buggers are using less filling as well...

Double whammy of shrinkflation and normal inflation...

Any one else got any hollow pies or examples of silly price increases..

The short crust steak pie from M&S is the business, very nice feed three nicely, make up some mash, veg and gravy or Chips and Peas with it, very nice.

Greggs is still a joke.
I went into Swansea earlier today and made a mistake I made 7 years ago in Newcastle, I bought a corned beef past .....more potato than corned beef and £1.70
It's a fucking joke especially in this day and age when money is tight.

P.S. why are there so many empty reatil outlets in the city?

The Kingsway has been on its arse for years. It's the same story all over the UK. Trouble is who the heck is going to open a shop in these troubled times. I dont think anyone knows the answer. The internet is killing retail(even some of those are struggling), I guess we are all to blame. I took the missus down to Morfa earlier. I said I'd pick up a USB adaptor plug, in BandQ or Argos, whilst I was there. Not a fooking chance,hopeless.

Do you mean neither had any? That's weird, Argos at least say they have some in Morfa on the website.

Don't disagree with anything else you've said. It's noticeable that the trend in Swansea city centre in recent years has been to build accommodation and leisure facilities. Online shopping isn't going away, neither are out of town shopping centres, so it seems a sensible move.
