I can only guess they haven't had time to update the outlets to cashless yet ?

Fair play mind people haven’t stopped complaining about the crap beer for years and now they’re complaining about not being able to drink it.
People eh?

Staff shortage more likely…

How will people survive?!

It’s not about how people will survive. It is destroying the match day experience! No programmes and no refreshments. I don’t drink alcohol down the Liberty, but I do like to get a cold bottle of Diet Coke or Fanta! I know I can take refreshments with me but by half-time they will be lukewarm.

The new and exciting match day experience…
1. No Programmes
2. No Refreshments
3. 8pm kick off on a Saturday night
4. Crap transportation.

Will the river side bar be open?

I don’t know for certain but I would think not if hospitality guests in the West Stand have to use an app to order drinks. I’m assuming the Riverside Bar area will be open but the actual bar closed?

It doesn't specify what the policy is on cooler bags and ice packs does it!

They can always retrain the programme sellers and turnstile operatives they're laying off I suppose..

It’ll be like going to watch Glammy in the past down St Helens.

You have to feel sorry for the Sheffield Utd supporters. Their first away match in almost 2 years. An 8 pm kick-off for the benefit of Sky, and a 5 hour coach drive home. They're being treated as a nuisance, and so are our fans.

Imagine not being able to have "refreshments" for 90 minutes, the absolute horror of it.

For God sake, it's a temporary measure mun.

I hate the term "matchday experience" with a passion (no offence, JH). For the last few decades my "matchday experience" has been go to the pub, go to the game, go back to the pub, go home. I'm not a fan of overcomplicating things me. That said, I won't be there tomorrow so enjoy the lack of programmes and refreshments. Not sure how you'll all cope.
