• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

It's far bigger than that Chief - it's a mindset thing. And that's not dissing the mindset of the average Swans fan online. It's simply a matter of fact.

We are currently in uncharted waters for the vast majority of conservative Swans fans, unfamiliar and uncomfortable with primarily financially driven investment decision making. Maximising shareholder value is alien to some, it must be uncomfortable for the likes of Andrew North Hill, completely out his depth and slurring his words badly.

It's clear that the combined additional, massive influx of investment from the 3 amigos is just that - a combined, joint and several investment in the future of our Swans. Happy days, for those with the right mindset...

.
You've typed a lot there without saying anything at all.

Specifically what is the mindset? Besides providing a home for overpaid mid level Anerican executives?

Defensive slur? You need to grow a pair pal. You come across as someone protecting a North Korean dynasty. Thanks for the money to keep the lights on. We‘ll be forever grateful !
As if u absolute and utter twat! We were doing fine before our local boys couldn’t resist the dollars and sold out.

Keep up. Esp if you want to rant and rave irrationally.

'Derisive' slur, I said. Keep up.

Do you think our local boys would be able to fund the ongoing structural gap (the lights, the wages, the tea-person etc), along with funding our record spend in the transfer market etc etc. ?

What on earth are you actually ranting and raving about ? Too many Babychams, I'd wager.

Arrogance knows no bounds! Maximizing shareholder value- seriously - how old are you?

Under who's stewardship did the 'ongoing structural gap' materialise?

Kinell Chief - I thought you were far better than this - the structural gap is a common thing for Clubs like us in this league. This is basic, schoolboy financial economics.

Folk like you ought to move on and 'get with' the times. We are now fortunate to have owners willing to invest to keep us afloat ++. To pump cash into our tills and pump ever more cash into our pipeline for growth.

You seem to have lost the plot along with longlost. Lost in plural.

You didn't answer my question.

Are you going to answer it?

Chief - a proper whoosh moment for you, it's a recurring theme.
You're making the same classic mistake as you have with others - I'm absolutely not here to fill your knowledge gaps - go do the hard yards yourself. Out.

What a mess. Club run by clueless management from a distance and reaching the next level. Trust being slowly diluted having ignored members wishes. Sad. But the West Wales Dave Dalton fan club continues to be happy. It‘s genuinely sad.

What are you here for then? You like to pretend you know more than everyone else but when you're challenged you run away.

It's a 'mindset' thing apparently.
