I can do that job.

1. Take Grimes off all set pieces.
2. Tell our tallest players to mark the oppo's tallest players at defensive corners.

You couldn't log on on here last season for everyone posting about AFC Wimbledon's incredible feats.
Final position in League one - 23rd.

Just text my mate who’s an AFC season ticket holder.
He said those previously bad stats were when Glyn Hodges was their manager and they were awful. When they replaced the manager with Mark Robinson they were a better all round team which is why the stats improved.

Sounds very promising that. Immediate improvement at the dons

His remit was set pieces, in which they far outperformed their general play. They were around 8th in the league for set pieces, with 18 goals, despite finishing second bottom.

It's definitely something that we needed. We only scored 2 goals from set pieces last season, significantly the lowest in the league and I believe one of our set piece goals was Piroe's penalty.

From open play, we were the third highest goalscorers in the Championship behind Bournemouth and Fulham. If we're average at set pieces for the league in general, we should get significantly better results.

It definitely makes for impressive reading on a CV.

We know the players we have can defend set pieces, under Cooper we had one of the meanest set piece defences in all the divisions and a pretty respectable attacking set piece record too.

I am reassured to see that RM and the club as a whole have taken steps to address a significant weak spot in the team.

Has he done anything to improve us?

Didn't we have a spell where our set piece stats were really good (defensive and offensive) fairly recently? And this was lauded.

Absolutely shambolic currently though, both ends of the pitch.

I sit next to the home dugout and the way he comes steaming out holding up fingers with no f*cker taking any notice of him at every set piece is hysterical.

Over in the East yesterday and after the 2nd Brum goal I think it was. Russell Martin was going ballistic.

You were nearer - was he?
