I've read this morning that there were 4 deaths?

Four over the course of the three days. Two as a result of the National itself.

Four too many, whether in one race, two races or 25 races.

Are the deaths of any consequence to those who support horse racing?

Either redesign the jumps or time to pull the plug, basically cruelty for the sake of it.

Thousands upon thousands of horses wouldn't have a life without racing. Tens of thousands are employed through it, millions gets put into the economy cos of it. Yes horses will die, but out of approx 250,000 horses that take part in uk racing every year less than 150 will die. I've owned a racehorse and the care and life they are given is incredible. So before anyone says its cruel...think on.

It's cruel.

Doesn't matter if they live in a five star horse hotel. Bred for the enjoyment of humans.

I've had a think, and the way the jumps are designed for the Grand National is cruelty, as I've said, redesign the jumps for the sake of the horses wellbeing.
