Went to see him twice in concert in Birmingham with my old man (who is a big fan) around mid to late 90's. You could tell his voice wasn't as strong as it was, but he put on a hell of a show anyway.

Hated his music personally , its claimed he was an anti vaxxer who died of covid , that's very sad if true , and a bit ironic as it could be said he died because of a Chinese bat out of hell
He appeared in a lot of good movies and was a real character
