Hopefully we got there and with a candidate which, to most people's surprise after the events that have transpired in the past week, is the strongest for the team and the direction we want to go in.

Much more confident about the season ahead now. If we were told that we would have got rid of Pooper and got in Martin I think we'd have been happy. Just the timing a bit iffy.

How can you feel sorry for the first ever and only football franchise in the UK, basically bought someone else's team in London and moved them to Milton Keynes.. Americans think it's great, but we're completely different animals when it comes to sport, it's ironic that our Americans are poaching him

I was that confident I even got my Mrs to lump on Phil. Beans on toast for both of us for a few weeks it is……

In all seriousness I reckon he was close, can’t remember where I read now, but there was apparently a split in opinion with different decision makes about whether it should be Morris or Martin, assuming that would be the Americans and winter.
