• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Luke Williams on Stoke City | Reaction

Probably not a coincidence that week and the Portsmouth game coupled with the Albion link started this freefall although the Hull game was a shocker too

There has to be a way mate. We were in for more players in January than we signed so there's money. There's more to it than that.

Besides if I'm not mistaken the pay out would be spread out from an accounting perspective over the term of his contract.

Even Coleman isn't this stupid. Simple facts are that players are rock bottom whereas a good end to the season might add the fee for Williams' departure onto Franco's head for example.
We can't afford to not pay him off, we are literally dying on our feet, even Coleman must be able to see this now ffs .

You're absolutely spot on Jaxsy.

Williams is a sunk cost - i.e. his cost is irrelevant to our here and now decision making process - we want and need to kick on to succeed. To succeed for our investors and us fans.

We deserve a proper, winning manager. Not some faux Pep wannabe with a powerpoint.

If I was as an owner I'd sack him off right now, place the quorum in charge and appoint a proper winner to get the very best out of our leading edge global sourcing model......
