Lowe has very little positional awareness. What he had in his purple spell was some stamina, which now seems to have gone. Whittaker must start but we have so many players running and thinking on empty that slight changes won't make much of a difference

Oh I tend to agree but Whittaker showed enough in 45 minutes for me to say he has to start but we are a team that is completely devoid of energy right now

As mentioned, Whittaker needs to start for 2 reasons.
1. He'll be desperate to make an impression, will run/chase down everything ( you'd hope)
2. If it's not working, Lowe can come on determined to show was a mistake to drop him.
