Serious question, how many do you all think it's ok to lose complete control of yourself in a year? Like for me, I think this year, 3 times, we are talking full on Michael Douglas meltowns like falling down, is complete control the right word? Say lose your temper? And I mean a proper shitfest.. Which you then regret..

For me 2 occasions were arguing with neighbours, and the the other was a customer in a supermarket,

Its OK.
Explaining it to the judge maybe a little awkward tho.

Is that "in booze" OR " out of booze"??

Completely sober, like an example scenario would be, you catch your neighbours dog,, pooing outside your home, and they leave it there, you ask them to clean it up, and they tell you to pee off, what is the appropriate reaction, is it ok to shout a lot at them, or just say ok then I'll clean .. Not talking about any violence here, just general raised voices, and just being angry

In that scenario I’d pick it up and put it through the dirty bastards’ letterbox. And I’d be in complete control while doing it.

I think this is the thing I'm thinking about, although it may be justified, once you react in that manner, it brings you down to their level, like you have joined their club. Even raising your voice at someone, and getting angry, like you could be standing in a supermarket queue and someone just walks in front of you, and you say 'excuse me there is a queue here' and they say pee of mate, I don't do queue's, and like many would, you blow your top. Bit of ranting and raving, perhaps all the store looking, yet when you reflect back on it, I end up thinking I am in the wrong, for lowering myself down to that level of the person who was rude,

Self control is key at all times. A message can be delivered without the need for either raised voices or physical altercation.

So I ask myself, would the better scenario be, 'Hi would you mind clearing up the dog mess? 'Pee off', Oh ok, no worries I'll get a bucket and brush now, and the person who jumps in front, say absolutely nothing and smile, it sounds silly but for just general happiness, I think this is the correct route to go, rather than getting worked up over trivial matters, which after the event are just not worth worrying about.

How would you handle a situation like the dog poo scenario? Would you interact with them?

If I had the money I would, was down Saundersfoot a few months ago, and it looks nice and peaceful down there.

In a calm way where you state facts, justify your position and try to place your neighbour in the opposite scenario. I would like to think that most folks possess a modicum of common sense and compassion, hopefully your neighbour fits this profile and sees sense. This might not be a conversation that works first time, sometimes folk need time to reflect on their actions before changing mindset. Try this before you shove the turds back through the letterbox
